This year, National Women’s Health Week (NWHW) is from May 11 - 17. Annually observed by the US Department of Health and Human Services’ Office on Women’s Health (OWH), it promotes women’s mental and physical well-being while addressing current health-related issues.

First, make sure you register so we can tally up the number of groups involved.
Second, it’s up to you! Any level of activity you plan for that week is great. Whether it’s daily Instagram posts, hanging up posters around campus, holding a lunchtime fundraiser, or a combination of all three, every participating group gets to choose how to celebrate NWHW.

Women in California continue to face obstacles in health equity, whether it be lack of menstrual pads in public restrooms or trouble accessing preventative screenings.
Unity is a powerful tool for highlighting these issues and awareness is often the first step towards making real change.
